Revised: The Three Faces of Victim!

I just wanted to let you know that my edited, expanded and completely revised version of “The Faces of Victim” is now up and available free on my webpage!

I wrote the original version eight or nine years ago. There has been so much expansion in my work since then that I began to feel that the article did not adequately convey my teaching. In the past few months, I've essentially rewritten it and included more examples from case examples. In addition, I've added many of the basic underlying principles found in the work I currently do with clients. You may find that you come away with a clearly defined understanding of how you've kept yourself from having the life you desire and some ideas of what is needed to give yourself a better life.

If you found the article enlightening before, I think you will find it many times more so now! And if you haven't read it yet, I strongly encourage you to do just that…. I think you will find this article to be a comprehensive presentation of how we live out our limited life story on Stephen Karpman's Drama Triangle.

Chances are you will recognize yourself and your loved ones in one of the three roles described there. Understanding how we get hooked and what keeps us there is a big step to getting off this triangle of pain and dysfunction.

I hope you will read it and comment on it here … I'd love to hear your feedback.
Blessings, Lynne

Second, I cannot find the revised version of it on your webpage. Please can you provide some guidance?

    Thank you!
